Commercial Carpentry & Timber Fit-Outs

Custom timber work for shops, offices, and commercial spaces — built to a standard that holds up in a working environment.
Commercial spaces have different demands to a home. The work needs to look professional, handle daily use without falling apart, and get done without the fit-out becoming a bigger disruption than it needs to be. We work with business owners, shop operators, office managers, and fit-out contractors to deliver custom timber and cabinetry work that does the job properly. Whether it’s a single feature wall in a reception area or a full shopfront fit-out, we bring the same attention to detail we put into every residential job — just on a commercial scale.

Timber in commercial spaces — why it works

Timber has had a real resurgence in commercial design over the last several years, and for good reason. It brings warmth into spaces that would otherwise feel cold and corporate. It photographs well for social media and marketing. And when it’s done properly with the right species and finish, it holds up to the kind of daily punishment a busy commercial space puts it through.
We’ve seen a lot of commercial spaces use timber as a surface layer — slapped on top of cheaper materials as an afterthought. The result looks okay for a year and then starts to show. We build commercial joinery the way it should be built — proper substrate, proper joinery, proper finish — so it lasts the distance and still looks good five years in.
If you’re working with an interior designer or fit-out contractor, we’re happy to work off their documentation and specifications. And if you’re going it alone and just have an idea in your head, we can help you work through the detail to get to something that’s buildable and within budget.

Working around your business hours

We know that most businesses can’t just close down for a week while a fit-out happens. Where possible, we schedule commercial work to minimise disruption — early starts, after-hours work, or staged installation so different parts of your space stay operational. We’ll talk through the logistics with you before we start so there are no surprises on the day.
We work directly with business owners as well as with builders, designers, and fit-out contractors. If you're part of a larger project team, we're set up to work within that process.

How it works

1.
Tell us about your project

Give us a description of the space, what you need done, and any plans or drawings if you have them. Photos of the existing space always help. The more context the better, but even a rough brief is a starting point.

2.
We come and look at the space

For commercial work we'll always want to see the space in person before quoting. Commercial sites have a lot of variables — existing structure, services in the way, access — that affect how the job needs to be approached.

3.
You receive a detailed quote

We put together a clear scope and price so you know exactly what's included. If the job is being tendered or needs to go through an approval process, we can provide the documentation you need.

4.
We schedule around your business

We agree on a timeline that works for your operation, then we get in, do the work, and get out. We keep you updated as the job progresses and deal with any issues on the spot rather than leaving them for later.
