Renovation Carpentry & Custom Cabinetry

One room or the whole house — custom timber work built to fit your home, not someone else’s floor plan.
Not every job is a full house build. Sometimes you’ve moved into an older home and the kitchen needs proper storage. Maybe the laundry is a mess and you want cabinets that actually work. Or you’ve been living with a cluttered living room and you’re ready for a built-in entertainment unit that looks like it belongs there. Whatever the job, if it involves timber, cabinetry, or joinery, we can take care of it. We do renovations of all sizes — from a single wardrobe to a full interior refit.

Common renovation jobs we handle

Here’s a look at the kinds of work people call us for. If your job isn’t listed, it’s still worth getting in touch — if it’s a timber or cabinet trade, chances are we do it.

Custom kitchen cabinets

Replacing tired old cabinets or doing a full kitchen rework. We build and install kitchen cabinetry that's made for your kitchen — not adjusted to fit. New doors, new boxes, or a complete redo.

Laundry cabinets & joinery

A well-built laundry makes a real difference day to day. We build overhead cabinets, under-bench storage, and full laundry fit-outs that are practical, sturdy, and look good too.

Entertainment units & TV walls

Built-in entertainment units, floating media consoles, and full feature wall joinery. Done properly so cables are hidden, everything fits the TV and equipment you have, and it looks like it was always part of the room.

Wardrobes & bedroom storage

Custom built-in wardrobes for any bedroom size. Walk-ins, reach-ins, sliding doors, or hinged — we design the layout around how you actually use the space, not a generic configuration.

Bathroom vanities

Custom vanity cabinets built and installed to fit your bathroom layout. Whether you're updating a single vanity or fitting out a full bathroom reno, we can build something that looks and works better than anything off the shelf.

Bookshelves & display units

Floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, alcove shelving, display cabinets — built-in pieces that use the space in your home properly and give you storage that looks intentional rather than added as an afterthought.

Home office joinery

Built-in desks, shelving walls, and storage for a dedicated home office or study nook. Custom built so your workspace fits the way you work, not the other way around.

Timber repairs & replacements

Damaged skirting boards, rotted window frames, tired door frames, or old trims that need replacing. We handle smaller repair and replacement jobs, not just full fit-outs.

Why custom instead of flat-pack?

Flat-pack furniture has its place, but it has real limits. Standard sizes don’t always suit your space — a cabinet that’s 600mm wide when you need 640mm means wasted space or an awkward gap. Custom joinery is built to the exact dimensions of your room, which means better storage, cleaner lines, and something that actually fits the home you’re living in.
Custom also means you choose the materials, the finish, and the layout. You’re not picking from four options on a showroom floor — you’re getting something made for you. And because it’s built in and fixed to the wall, it’s sturdier, it won’t wobble, and it adds real value to your home if you ever sell.
We’re not here to talk anyone into something they don’t need. If flat-pack will do the job, we’ll say so. But for most built-in joinery work, custom is the better outcome — and it’s often not as far apart on price as people assume.

Renovating while you're living in the house

We understand that most renovation jobs happen while you’re still at home. We work in a way that minimises disruption — we don’t leave sites in a mess overnight, we give you a clear idea of how long each stage will take, and we communicate if anything changes. A kitchen cabinet job shouldn’t feel like your house has been taken over for two weeks.
We work with homeowners directly — no builder or project manager required. Just get in touch, tell us what you're after, and we'll take it from there.

How it works

1.
Tell us what you need

Call or message us with a description of the job. Photos of the space help a lot. You don't need to have everything figured out — we can help you work through the details.

2.
We come out and measure up

For most jobs we'll come to your home to take proper measurements, look at the space, and understand what's actually involved. This is how we give you an accurate quote — not a rough figure that changes later.

3.
You get a clear quote

We'll put together an itemised quote so you know exactly what you're paying for. No surprises. If you have questions about anything in it, ask — we're happy to explain it.

4.
We book in and get it done

Once you're happy to go ahead, we lock in a start date that works for you. We show up, do the job properly, clean up when we're done, and make sure you're happy before we leave.
